I really enjoy reading your blog posts. I loved reading your end of year reflections and your 2026 post. I resonated with it so much. The start of this year has also been uninspiring and honestly dreadful. I usually enjoy a new year even if I am not a big new year's resolutions person. To me new year's means that its almost summer beach time again. The start of this year I've just been dragging my feet the news and the current state of the world fill me with dread. On a good note, this new year I started it right with diving into a new hobby. I started knitting and I've found a lot of peace in it. And if I'm knitting, I'm not on my phone. Last year I finally felt like I was making an actual breakthrough of being more offline and my one resolution is to stay offline as much as possible. I also read your 2025 wrapped. I also saw the Everybody's talking tour. IT WAS AMAZING! I think it way my favorite concert of 2025 even though I was working it (I work as event staff for a venue). Even though I couldn't watch the whole show the energy was ELECTRIC.

Your website is so cute! that blog post about spending more time decorating your site than writing content on it is so relatable, the indie web gives you a ton of freedom over the aesthetics (which is a good thing since you can be more expressive) which can be overwhelming and make you feel like it has to look perfect, my favorite part is your media log, you're really good at explaining things in a way that makes stuff I would normally never be into really interesting, the colors of everything are so pretty and match perfectly with the content which makes everything feel more professional and detailed

Hi!! I love your website!! It is co cool and aesthetically pleasing. I read your latest blog and really resonated with it. When I started my website, I spent the first few months just making different versions of it instead of focusing on the content of my site. I felt like this because the world is your oyster when you can decide every aspect of your site. Compared to traditional social media where the only thing that makes you stand out is the content of your site. I finally started adding more content to my site when I just let my site be 'ugly'(it's not ugly but not exactly the vision I have in mind). I made it my goal to update once a week even if it's just recommending a new song and I've finally been able to stick to it.
